  • Some amazing news about 5.13 firmware update of Xbox controllers!

    Hello!

As you may know, Xbox Elite 2, Xbox One and Xbox Series X | S controllers got a new firmware update — 5.13.

Last week, we updated reWASD and enabled remapping paddles on Xbox Elite 2 controller — hooray!

We are strongly recommending to all Xbox Elite 2 controller users to re-download and re-install reWASD from the official site if you want to use the 5.13 firmware version — this update won't be suggested automatically.

Also, you will see a bit outdated starting page, but no worries, at the moment, you have two options:
    1. Remap paddles of Xbox Elite 2 controller on any connection using 5.13 firmware version
    2. Revert your gamepad to the 4.8 firmware version if you find it more stable or suitable for you
Please do not use 5.11 beta versions — paddles are not supported fully there; Microsoft has fixed paddles in 5.13

Also, do not forget to Unmap paddles in Xbox Accessories app to avoid double input. The instructions are below:
    1. Open Xbox Accessories App
    2. Create an "empty" profile with unmapped paddles and with no additional mappings on other buttons
    3. Clone this profile and apply it to all 1-3 physical slots
    4. Now you can open reWASD and assign additional actions to them
