  • reWASD 6.5.0: use an ESP32 Bluetooth adapter and remap Azeron Cyro, DualSense Edge

    Who's up for a game-changer?!๐ŸŽฎ๐Ÿš€

โ€‹reWASD 6.5 is here, and it's packed with playful features that will take your gaming experience to the next level!
    • Enjoy remapping of a range of popular controllers, including the Azeron Cyro, DualSense Edge, Hori Wired Mini Gamepad for PlayStation 4, GameSir G7 Wired Controller, and XIM Nexus.
      • In response to the high demand for the Azeron Cyro - Keypad and mouse hybrid for one-handed gaming, we promptly introduced support for this device.
      • In addition, we received a significant number of requests for the DualSense Edge with additional Fn-buttons, and reWASD 6.5 now supports this controller.
However, please note that the DualSense Edge must be connected to a PS5 in order to use the Fn + X, O, Triangle, Square buttons with reWASD. When connecting the gamepad to the PS5, it is important to initialize the default profile for correct use. More information can be found by following the link.
      • reWASD 6.5.0 detects GameSir G7 Wired Controller with a USB connection as Xbox series X|S by default. The additional buttons are not available.
If you want to use GameSir G7 in extended mode, before connecting it to PC hold down the View + Menu buttons. In this mode, reWASD doesn't yet support LEDs and rumble but supports additional buttons. Alternatively, you can switch it to extended mode from reWASD via context menu. Return to Xbox mode is currently possible only via replug.
      • Xim Nexus is detected on reWASD as an Xbox 360 via USB connection or Xbox One on bluetooth. reWASD 6.5 does not yet support the gyroscope and additional buttons of the XIM NEXUS gamepad. Learn more about how to turn on gyro can be found by following the link.โ€‹

      • The Google Stadia gamepad is now supported via Bluetooth connection
    • Connect your PS4/Nintendo Switch or other Bluetooth devices to an external virtual controller using the ESP32 Bluetooth adapter, and game on like never before. Discover more details on how to use an ESP32 Bluetooth adapter in Helpโ“ and collect some potential questions in F.A.Q. We hope the new feature will provide a new user experience for the virtual external gamepad

    • reWASD Junior updates: vibration sending, LED settings, states of your PC keyboard, and notifications about low charge.
      • A new type of controller, the Mouse Touchpad, has been added for mobile Android users. This feature allows you to use your phone as a wireless mouse on your PC. The Mouse Touchpad controller supports various gestures, including tapping with one or two fingers and scrolling with two fingers on the touchpad. Moreover, you can choose between touchpad types with or without buttons (RMC, LMC), providing you with more versatility and command over your mobile gaming experience.

      • An accelerometer sensor has been added to the Gamepad.

        โ€‹
      • Users can now change the background to true black to reduce energy consumption on some phones at the user's request.
        โ€‹โ€‹
      • Additionally, you can now set up LEDs on the Gamepad controller and enjoy your favorite games with customized lighting on your screen. Personalize your gaming experience by choosing the type of LEDs on your mobile screen and on both reWASD Junior apps. • Small changes in reWASD 6.5.0 should know:
      • Ignore 'Hook controllers buttons' checkbox after Apply in profile
Selected 'Hook controllers buttons' checkbox in Preferences will ignore to avoid pressing buttons (keyboard, gamepad, mouse) in the frame in the GUI after Apply. Then when you press the buttons of the keyboard, mouse, and gamepad, the buttons will not be pulled up in the frame until 'Remap off'.
      • Apply presets to the current layer in Dynamic Shifts.
