Question about Arduino Joystick/parts

If I plug in this thing (PC) , can rewasd detect and remap it directly or need an additional software running in order to make this work ? thks

reWASD will recognize it is it works as Xbox 360 controller, DS4 controller or even keyboard and mouse (but the last option is not the best one, it would be better if it is reported as a gamepad). To turn your Arduino joystick to XInput, you will need to make some changes from your side. You may check this guide as an example.
