Hey gamers! 🎮 We’re excited to announce the release of reWASD 8.0.1 – a small but important update packed with features you’ve been asking for, along with some important fixes to make your gaming smoother than ever. Here’s what’s new:

    🔥 What’s New in reWASD 8.0.1?
    1. Virtual Shaking – Enhanced Motion Control: We’ve added Virtual Shaking support to the virtual gyro (VGyro), perfect for games where motion is critical. One example is The Last of Us – remember when your flashlight goes out? Now you can simulate a shake with a simple key press to keep the light on and stay in the action!
    2. Scroll Wheel Mapping – You Asked, We Delivered: We’ve listened to your feedback and introduced the ability to map virtual scrolls to physical scroll wheels. This is now available for devices like Azeron and gamepads with scroll wheels, giving you even more control options in games.
    3. Shift Layers in the Radial Menu – Quick Access, More Customization: With this update, you can now jump directly to Shift Layers from the Radial Menu. Plus, you can customize each sector with colors, icons, or numbers, making navigation between different controls smoother and faster during gameplay.
    4. Trackball Mode on DarkWalker ShotPad: We’ve added Trackball Mode for the touchpad on the DarkWalker ShotPad, allowing you to control the cursor with precision. We’ve also squashed a bug related to virtual scroll mapping in the GUI for DarkWalker ShotPad FPS, so everything runs smoothly.

    🛠️ Improved Handheld Support:

During this release, we worked on improving the reWASD experience for handheld devices like AYANEO, ROG Ally, and AOKZOE A1. We fixed an issue where configurations wouldn’t show in the slots after being applied, and we’ve resolved problems with shortcuts not working correctly when combining different controllers on these handhelds. Now, switching actions and configurations is smoother than ever! 🐛 Bug Fixes:
    • We’ve fixed the issue where the timings for Double and Triple Activators unexpectedly changed when switching between frames with different settings.
    • Resolved bugs where hidden mutes weren’t showing correctly on Azeron after reopening the interface or changing devices.
    • Fixed a rare but unpredictable crash that occurred when switching to a config slot while using the Korean language. Hieroglyphs can be tricky, but we’ve got it sorted now!
    🚀 Haven’t Tried reWASD Yet?

If you haven’t explored reWASD yet, now’s a great time to start! Try it free for 7 days and unlock full control of your favorite gamepad or mouse with features like remapping, Shift Layers, and the newly added Virtual Shaking and Trackball Mode. Whether you're using a handheld device or a gaming PC, reWASD has you covered!

"Shift Layers in the Radial Menu – Quick Access, More Customization"

Is this considered a new feature? And if so then that means it won't be accessible to legacy lifetime users, right?

I updated my reWASD to 8.0.1, and Xbox X|S controller's trigger rumble is gone. Why the heck this happened? Until 8.0.0, there aren't the problem like this.

If you roll back to a previous version, will rumble come back?

How can I roll back? Just uninstall and re-install?

I rebooted my PC several times, and then suddenly trigger rumble came back. When I just completely turn off reWASD and execute again, trigger rumble didn't come back. I think it's update bug. Please check it.

Please check if this works correctly on previous versions of reWASD.

                    Hi. Thanks for the update!

Can you tell me if there are plans to develop a minimum movement function for the gyroscope?

Earlier, I contacted you with a problem where even adjusting the curve did not guarantee getting rid of dead zones with minimal movement of the gyroscope on dualsence.

I want to use reWASD but I have to be on ds4windows

                      Hi natrix5369

Perhaps we will implement this in the future, but at the moment we don't have an ETA. Thank you for your understanding.
