For 9 years, you’ve been pushing the limits of what’s possible in and out of games - building wild configs, fine-tuning every millisecond, reinventing controls, and showing us new ways to use reWASD.
And we’ve been building reWASD side by side with you.

What started as a simple remapper has evolved into a comprehensive control powerhouse, supporting dozens of controllers, enhancing the gaming experience for players worldwide, and allowing you to customize every detail of your setup.

And this didn’t happen because of you alone.
And not because of us alone.
It happened because of our synergy.

    Your imagination + our engineering.
    Your fantasy + our passion.
Your experiments + our stubbornness to improve.

Sometimes we agree, sometimes we debate, and sometimes we completely challenge each other - but that’s exactly how reWASD was born and how it continues to evolve.
This product resides at the intersection of our team’s craft and your creativity. And at that table, the user always has the front seat.

Here is our thank-you gift, because at our birthday party, we don’t usually receive gifts.
    We give them. 🎁

πŸ”₯ Use code RWSD9BDAY and get $9 off for purchasing Lifetime Access for 1PC.
One day only. This exact birthday.

Thank you for 9 years of play, curiosity, and shared obsession with control.
We love this community more than we can say.

    And we’re not stopping.
Something new is already on its way. Stay tuned. πŸš€

    Happy Birthday, reWASD.
    Let’s keep creating together.

      Hi ControlFreak

The input lag of our virtual devices is identical to the input lag of their physically connected counterparts. reWASD does not add any additional input delay.
Please go to Output device settings and set Device Performance to Ultra.

        Hello, strokel

What I mean is the Preferences > Press time > Short press time. (Shortcut mode)
It is about the waiting time for all the shortcut combination keys. (It is not about virtual controls.)
It is an extra hard overhead input lag time for all keys/buttons that are using shortcut mode in the currently activated profile.

My only hope/wish for this software is to let me lower it freely by myself, instead of 20ms being the lowest limit.
I would be much more comfortable with my output and mapping if the input lag could be lower.

I didn't mention that well enough, sorry for that, everyone.

Unfortunately, this delay is necessary to correctly select the activator to trigger when pressing the buttons, and I am not sure that values below 20m will be sufficient for that.
But we'll see what can be done (although I can't promise anything).

I totally understand it could behave funny when it is too low (Maybe add a warning if the user sets it under 20ms), but I prefer to test it by myself ms by ms without the limit if the software allows, sorry I am very stubborn for that. Thank you
