How to manage different controller profiles for racing and action games?

Hi everyone,
I recently started using reWASD to customize my controller settings for different types of PC games, and I really like how flexible the software is. However, I’m trying to organize my profiles better because I often switch between racing games, shooters, and arcade titles.

For example, I would like to have one profile with sensitive steering controls for driving games, another with different button mapping for action games, and a separate setup for games where I use additional controller features.

Is there a recommended way to organize multiple profiles in reWASD? Can I assign shortcuts or automatically switch profiles when launching a specific game?

I’d appreciate any tips from users who have created many profiles and found an efficient way to manage them.

Hi!
For organizing, you can use the fact that each profile can contain several configs.
What I mean is: you can name the profile as a genre, and then each config inside it as the game itself, like this:



As for switching config/profiles, I suggest you look into Slots for a manual approach and Autodetect for automation.
Both methods are not mutually exclusive, especially if you use the "sorting" described above.
