its unbelievably hard to use or understand how to use this program, make a basic version without so many options profiles slots save buttons and apply buttons, just make it so you remap keyboard to controller in a simple to understand way that doesn't require reading an encyclopedia, make the auto detect thing do something too please i have absolutely no idea what this feature is supposed to do because it does absolutely nothing and appears to be there for no other reason than to confuse even more

Hey there!

There is no basic version for reWASD because there is no basic case to use it. There are lots of different cases in which reWASD may help, and there is no cases that are more important then other ones. I hope you will get used to the features pretty quickly, we have lots of help guides to make it easier.

This video describes each and every thing in the interface. Please let me know what exactly goes wrong, so I may find the better video or article for you.

If you remap any device, the steps are the following:

• Choose the physical device you use at the bottom left
• Go to the top-right corner to open the list of profiles — your games or apps
• Open or create a new profile, the config will be created automatically
• Choose a button you want to remap and add the correspondent action to it
• Click Save (an icon near the config's name) to save this file for later
• Click Apply (big yellow button at the top) to apply the config right now

Slots, Autodetect and many other things are optional in your case, but I will be happy to describe them if you wish.

Hello,

1. You may check this link to read (watch) reWASD workspace, what profiles, configs are. It's not so hard as you described.

2. Autodetect is a coll feature allows adding *.exe file of certain game(app) to a profile and applying config of this game (app) automatically when this app or game in focus. Like, the reWASD config became active automatically, when a game is launched (more about autodetect — link).

3. Remap keyboard to controller — separate YouTube tutorial with all details you should know about.

ReWASD has plenty of settings, so, some time is required for learning. But, I'm sure you will make it
