  • Automated device grouping

I would love to see some way to automate device grouping/ungrouping.

    Here's what I mean. I have:
    • G502 mouse
    • mechanical keyboard
    • Razer Nostromo keyboard
    • Data Frog controller (Switch replica)
    • Xbox replica controller
    • DS4 controller
    • Airturn DUO (two-button programmable footswitch)
I often use these in different combinations. In most of my setups, I will include the Airturn DUO to switch between reWASD layers without sacrificing buttons. The current workflow makes that very cumbersome.

    E.g.
Group: G502, Razer Nostromo keyboard, Data Frog controller, Airturn DUO

If I want to have a different group using G502, mechanical keyboard, Airturn DUO, I would need to break up the other group and assemble this one.

I understand the logic behind a device being part of only one group at a time. But maybe you could find a way to create "Group shortcuts" that would trigger the automatic assembly of a group of specified devices (and remove those devices from any groups they're currently in).

I'd be happy to see this even just as a command-line option. I'm already using batch files to easily switch profiles and slots without using the GUI. And I trigger them from my Stream Deck, so it's a one-button thing.

Thanks for reading, and keep up the great work!

Thanks. Let me know if you want more detailed examples of my workflow. I tried to keep the post as short as possible.

Sorry for the bump but I wanted to know if there's been any internal discussion on this? Even just two command line options for grouping and ungrouping would be amazing!

Not yet, but we agree it would be a great addition!
