  • Magic Trackpad 2 driver update and control panel

This is surely a pretty niche use case, but I got ReWASD because it's the best way to use the MT2 on a PC.

As I understand it, your implementation is based on imbushuo's driver, which offers the full functionality of the device. However, that driver always had a few annoying issues with pointer precision, which were recently solved by this project:

Would it be possible to implement these settings, too?

    Thanks!

Our implementation was written from scratch - we looked at this driver intitially only as reference point. So it will take some time to understand what was changed.
Just to be clear, we made this support originally because imbushuo's driver had conflicts with reWASD.
But if this new solution works fine even with reWASD maybe you can just deselect "Apple MagicTrackpad 2 driver support" option in reWASD preferences
and let this new driver do its job?

      Thanks for the response.

It still needs imbushuo's driver, so I guess the conflicts remain. But the main thing is that the author isn't able to sign the bluetooth driver, so it only works connected to USB right now.

Ok, we'll try to handle this, but no ETA at the moment. We also had plans to support this touchpad natively in reWASD to allow mappings for gestures, pressure force etc. If you have any ideas or wishes you are welcome to describe them as well!

          Cool, thanks!

Regarding new features, the first thing that comes to mind is bringing over MacOS stuff like three finger drag and a second level click when you press a bit harder past the usual click.
