8BitDo Ultimate 2 Wireless full support

As of the current beta release, Steam Input has the ability to recognise the 8BitDo Ultimate 2 Wireless as a unique controller in its DirectInput mode. This not only lets Steam process the gyro and analog trigger inputs, but allows the back paddles and shoulder bumpers to be directly remapped.

I've read all the standard disclaimers about technical limitations, but if it's possible for Steam to do it, surely reWASD could as well?

No, this update does not include support for new devices.

Can we also get the D input mode on the 2.4g support like steam dose for better poling rates

No. This device is currently supported as is only when connected via Bluetooth mode.
