Icon or switch in mapping pop-up for "hold until release" or "execute immediately"

I often forget to pay attention to this setting when making mappings, and then when I notice in-game that I set it wrong, I need to go into Advanced for each button to check what I set it to and eventually change it.

It would be nice to see which one a mapping is set to in the first popup, without needing to go into the advanced mapping screen. Or even better, being able to switch it there. It could be an icon next to the mapping field which shows the current setting, and clicking on it toggles it.

The icon could also be displayed next to each mapping in the main overview of the controller, so you can see from there what each one is set to.

Um is that really necessary? What is not clear about my suggestion? There would be an icon next to the mapping which indicates whether the mapping is set to "execute immediately" or "hold unto release". Maybe it should not be an icon but something else, the important part is that it is visible. Right now I can't tell what the mapping is set to on the overview, and not in the 'simple mapping' popup. It is only visible on the Advanced Mapping screen, but it is essential to what the button does so I think it should be visible everywhere.

A mockup would have made your idea clearer.
Are you interested in more information about which combo mode is selected for your mapping?
Because there are already several additional options for displaying other mappings.

I assumed it would be easy to understand for anyone familiar with reWASD... I am referring to these two buttons which are shown at the top on the Advanced Mapping screen. As far as I can tell, I can only see this option, and change this option, on that screen. If I map it to "Space" for example, outside of the advanced screen it will just show up as "Space" and it doesn't tell me whether it will be released immediately or held as long as I press the button.

Here is an example, I set X to "hold until release" and A to "execute at once". Which one is which? They look the same, but they don't FUNCTION the same. This is confusing to me, I think it should be visible.

Currently, you can add a description for each mapping to help differentiate them.
