  • Emulate gamepad over network from ReWASD to ReWASD

The use case is for game streaming (Moonlight, etc) from a Windows client to a Windows host:

Have a way for ReWASD running on the client PC with a controller connected be a provider that ReWASD running on the host PC can use as a local controller.

For example, I want to have my Xbox One controller connected via Bluetooth to my client PC available to use as a virtual controller on the host PC. The current way of doing this is with ViGEm Bus Driver that is controlled by Sunshine, but it is limited as it only supports Xbox 360 and DS4.

If ReWASD could provide this functionality and support more types of controllers I think this would be very popular.

    Hey there!

We apologize for the delayed response.

If you want to use reWASD on one PC and send the remapped input to a second PC, you need to install reWASD on the host PC and connect your controller to it. After you have remapped your controller, you can send input to the second PC via External Devices.

Also, please make sure that ViGEmBus is not installed on the host PC, as it may interfere with the proper operation of reWASD.
