What is the recommended method for uninstalling?

I installed reWASD a couple hours ago and have had lots of connectivity problems with my Xbox Elite S2 controller. I'd like to completely uninstall reWASD but I want to make sure I safely remove it and all drivers associated with it. Will a simple uninstall from the control panel do all this or are there extra steps involved?

Should I totally reinstall the Xbox controller as well?

Sure, If you like to test some use cases without reWASD. You may uninstall the reWASD via standard steps. Go to the C:\Program Files\reWASD and run uninst.exe file, follow the wizard steps and reboot the PC if it's requested.

Your configs store this directory C:\Users\Public\Documents\reWASD\Profiles and they are in safe. But do a backup if you going to restore the system. Regarding your previous post where is the problem with the controller connection please, re-install the reWASD and try to connect the controller wirelessly again.
