Hello! I'm trying to map some key combination onto xbox's home button, but it results in it permanently pressed. Don't have a clue of what may be the cause. I do know for sure that button itself works and not stuck, because it powers up the controller just fine. It's Xbox One Wireless controller that I'm using in wired mode (plugged through USB).

Please, specify what combination did you try to map onto the Home button? Please, tale the screenshot or send the config that you're using. Did you unmap the button?

Turned out my gamepad did not have the latest firmware update. It seems Microsoft had changed the behaviour of Home button from "always pressed" to a normal button since, and it all works now.
This problem can now be considered solved. I appreciate your response!Comment
