  • Joystick feel and responsiveness changes when passed through the virtual controller

    Hello!

I'm using rewasd simply to allow for button macros. Double press, combo, etcetera. Everything in that regard works great. However, whenever remap is on the feel of the joysticks in any game I play is quite a bit different. It's like rewasd is muting or messing with the joystick input somehow. Has anyone else had this occur? Is there a way to pass through the raw joystick data without any filtering?

    Thanks in advance!

    Hello,

reWASD creates an exact copy of a physical device without raw data filtering. Please, specify what virtual controller do you create, the Xbox 360? Are just a native gamepad controls mappings in the config or there are keyboard mappings too? What physical controller do you use?

The Sticks have advanced settings where you may adjust stick response with a curve - https://help.rewasd.com/basic-functi...-settings.html. Try to fiddle with these settings if you feel that stick isn't comfortable for you to play.

In case you're using the Xbox Elite 2, try to lessen the dead zone completely without a stick response adjusting.

But before that, please try to create a virtual DS4 controller and try in the game https://recordit.co/qIv9UQGezhhttps:....co/qIv9UQGezh, Do you feel the same?
    Don't worry! Be Happy!
