Good news. The reWASD 5.5.1 version is available to install where add your requested fix. The virtual DS4 controller is detected by Steam as a unique device without extra accounts of the controller.

Unique identifiers generating requires extra costs, it's a quite expensive service that could affect the software cost. Would you be ready to pay extra to have the virtual ID?

Also, what are the benefits of this? Please, specify how are you going to use it?

When I use the xbox controller to map to a ps4 controller, I log in to my steam account, and at this time, the steam controller settings show that many accounts have registered this ps4 controller.

So I suggest to add a unique identifier when generating the virtual controller device to distinguish the virtual controller of others in steam
