I've read quite a few posts about using reWASD with controller and mouse on PC for D2, but still a little confused if it works or not. I would like to use the controller stick for wasd movement (including ADS with left trigger with it as well) and using the pc mouse. Since these cant be used simultaneously normally on D2, once I remap will the game recognize the xbox one controller anymore (or instead like a keyboard instead)? Just wanna make sure before I attempt trying this setup. Thanks.

You may try to group a controller + a mouse as a single device, the game will see it as Xbox 360. A mouse is remapped to the right stick, a controller's left stick as WASD. https://help.rewasd.com/how-to-remap...f-devices.html
Instead of a controller, you may use the keyboard as well, the game will see the virtual controller while you play with mouse + keyboard.Don't worry! Be Happy!
