Question Regarding PS4 Touchpad / Extra Paddles (buttons) Support

I'm wondering if reWASD would recognize the buttons on a modded controller like eXremeRate

Or, would I be able to somehow map those extra buttons from eXtremeRate to 1 of the mappable areas on the trackpad, and then from there pressing one of the added buttons would also trigger whatever is assigned mapping to the trackpad area?

Hi there,

We have made a huge research and came to the conclusion that reWASD is not able to detect the additional buttons/paddles, since they are not reported to Windows as separate controls, unlike Xbox Elite 1 and 2 paddles. The rest of the controllers containing extra buttons or paddles are recognized as Xbox 360 or Xbox One only.

The touchpad is remappable (at least on the original DS4 controller), but we didn't test the provided devices, so can't tell you exactly.
