Official Gamecube Keyboard Controller compatibility?

I do own an official Gamecube Japanese Keyboard Controller originally made for the game Phantasy Star Online on that very console.

My question is the following:

I do know that Raphnet the main USB compatible cable manufacturer did removed its GC keyboard key function in their last revision and I still don't know if the WII U Gamecube Adaptater can fully works with the Keyboard key.. Is it compatible through the WIIU Adapter or can the software/code for it to get it to work can be added into ReWASD?

reWASD can recognize some controllers that aren't in the list as the Xbox 360 if it has the X-input mode - https://help.rewasd.com/how-to-remap...d-devices.html. I think this device should be detected as the keyboard only without extra controls. reWASD doesn't support complex devices yet.

We're working on features that would allow adding various controllers to support, thank you for your suggestion. But no ETA when it will be added.
