Third Party Chatpad support

I recently learned ReWASD supports. Box one chatpad. I don’t own one but now I intend on buying one. Does reWASD support third party chat pads or only OEM microsoft?

I had a feeling that’s was the case, looks like I am on the hunt for one of these bad boy. They dare so expensive now and hard to find .
