  • Combos on dpad with shift

How do I assign a key combo to a shift layer on the dpad (Xbox One Controller)?

The main config allows combos on the dpad, but combos are just not an option with shifts.

You cannot use key combo with the shfit modifier button. The key which is responsible for changing the shift layer will cause some uncontrollable behavior if the same button has combo in it.

I have key combos on shifts working for other buttons and sticks.

Is this just a problem with the dpad?

Actually my bad, you can do this, as long as you set the combo not on the shift tab, but at the Shift 0 tab.

So you have the Dpad key assigned to shift layer and software does not allow you to add combo to it? May I have the screenshot of needed DPAD button at Shift 0 tab?

I don't see any issue. Assign the combo when you are on shift0 and there should be no issue. Button is available for use. I just don't see any combo assigned to it.

As I told you, it is possible to assign combo to the shift modifier only in the main layer.

Below see a key combo being used in shift1, button A. I'd like to something similar with the dpad, but you say it is not possible.

Can this be fixed? Why is the dpad different from the other buttons?

Thank you for your response, btw.

I believe it is available, it is just not on your screen
It just falls below the screen itself.

That was it. Moving the taskbar to the side revealed the key combo button,

                    Thank you.
