I could use some advice on how to configure my side mouse buttons...I have them mapped as seen below, but they do nothing in game:

I cannot really see anything on a screenshot, but still, the guide is the same as for any other key. Select the key - assign what mapping you need - press apply. It might not work correctly if you already changed the keys' function in some other software.
So make sure you use only reWASD and your sidekeys are not remapped with some other software.
Also make sure your devices are initialized correctly. For this, open the group of devices and make sure keyboard has a keyboard icon and mouse has mouse icon.
