Hey there! A quick follow-up regarding the issue with maximized window:

In reWASD 5.1, there was an older version of .NET framework, that's the main difference in the behavior. And this behavior is ruled by .NET, so there is nothing we could actually fix at the moment. We will try to manage the size of the window by ourselves in the future versions, and then we will be able to fix it. As for it is a pretty big task, it is scheduled to the next major release. Sorry for the inconvenience.

The issue appears if I have the game in different resolution than the game. If the game is in the same resolution than desktop then there is no problem.

After I close the game, the window from rewasd goes to maxed size even if I had previously changed to minimal size.

This issue doesn´t happen in the old version 5.1.0.1302

- I show you I have activated dsr in nvidia panel for 1440p and 2160p
- I open rewasd and I show I can change the size of the window easily
- I open a game and I show the resolution of the game: 2160p
- I close the game and then when I go back to desktop the size of the rewasd window has changed to maxed size.

We have released the new version — reWASD 5.8 — and it seems to be fixing the issue with the tray agent. I would be grateful if you check it from our side, because we could not reproduce the same steps you had.

Got it. I am sorry that you are forced to use an older version. In case we find something (or maybe you test it again), would be happy to share any news.

As far as I understand, the tray agent hangs out in your case (or maybe even crashes, as other options do not work). It may be a chance that there are some errors in Event Viewer related to it.

I came back to 5.1.0.1302 version and I´ll stay in this version at the moment where I have not that issue.

I finished tired of installing and uninstalling the programm for making tests and tries.

Thanks for all, if some day I try again a newer version I will comment by here. In the old version when I go to "Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Disc Soft\reWASD\Config" 0 appears.

I remember that in the new version nothing worked clicking right mouse in tray icon, only a list appeared but nothing worked, only clicking twice in the tray icon opened rewasd programm.

Unfortunately, there is still nothing from our side. We have tried the same conditions but haven't reproduced the issue at all.

May I ask you to check the registry entry for me?

Please go to "Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Disc Soft\reWASD\Config" and check Autorun. Which value does it have?
Also, one more question. You wrote that when you click "Hide" nothing happens. Do other tray menu options work? Can you, let's say, Open reWASD using the tray icon?

Yes I tried clear data.

I did what you say about stop from Task manager and that it was only another way to close tray icon fro rewasd.

I don´t know which could be the reason I have this problem but not you.

Maybe the controllers I had to install for the new controller "kaiser-nxkromksr" generate this problem or may be as the device is not in the list of officially supported devices produces this issue.

I bought this controller a few days ago because my xbox elite 1 is being repaired and I think I am going to ask for a return.

Have you tried to clear data and get the same behavior? Could you please manually stop the agent from Task manager and try to perform the same steps?
