  • Help!! Want to buy reWASD but .... :-(

    Hi,

I'm trying to use reWASD to provide functionality for the paddles on the back of an Xbox Elite 2 Controller and I've followed the instructions but I get odd behaviour in testing them that I think is a bug....

Lets say I map both the Left paddles to activate a keypress 3 and map both the right paddles to keypress 5.....

    R Top Paddle = 5
    R Bottom Paddle = 5
    L Top Paddle = 3
    L Bottom Paddle = 3

This works for a few clicks but randomly the keymappings will swap or get mixed up, eg they could become...

    R Top Paddle = 3
    R Bottom Paddle = 5
    L Top Paddle = 3
    L Bottom Paddle = 3

    or

    R Top Paddle = 5
    R Bottom Paddle = 5
    L Top Paddle = 5
    L Bottom Paddle = 5

    or

    R Top Paddle = 5
    R Bottom Paddle = 3
    L Top Paddle = 5
    L Bottom Paddle = 3

What am I missing here.... am I doing something wrong?

This is kinda the only reason I need reWASD to actually add some functionality to these rather expensive controller paddles, but it's completely useless if this is a bug (which I hope it isn't... I really hope it's me being dumb.

    Thanks

This isn't really a bug. reWASD selects pressed paddle and reacts to its remapped inputs. You can avoid this behavior by either disabling remap when you're setting up the config or by disabling [Hook controller buttons] option at [Preferences > General].
