run exe with parameters

It is possible to run exe with parameters with rewasd
for example press a button on the gamepad, to execute a third party exe

Hi there!

Not with reWASD directly but it is possible.

First, you will have to create a Windows shortcut of an app you want to run. Add parameters to the [Target] field, then set a [Shortcut key], preferably of at least 3 buttons.
Then remap a gamepad button to the same shortcut with [Key Combo], so all the keys included would be pressed at some point.

The result would be: you press a button -> reWASD presses the shortcut on virtual keyboard -> Windows catches it and runs the app.

Though if you want some variables from reWASD to be passed as parameters - that is currently impossible.
