  • auto-detect compatability issues

the auto-detect feature is not playing nice with the swiftpointZ mouse, which also uses its own auto-detect. when rewasd is enabled with autodetect the mouse autodetect profile will quickly revert back to windows.

swiftpoint has the ability to trigger a new button when two buttons (or more) are pressed at the same time- the functionality is still necessary cuz its missing in rewasd. is there any workaround?r

Have no information on how SwiftpointZ mouse software auto-detect works, so can't suggest any workarounds. Maybe a little explanation on how reWASD`s [Autodetect] works might clear the situation:
    • [Autodetect] checks the name of application currently in focus and applies an associated config on a match.
    • If another app, not associated to this config, gets focused - the config is removed (if [Remove applied config from slot...] option is enabled at [ > Tray Agent]).
    • Config is also removed when all devices being remapped by this config are disconnected from PC or turned off.
As for "trigger a new button when two buttons (or more) are pressed" - [Shortcuts] function does exactly that. [Shifts] might become a working alternative too: set the first button you usually press as a shift modifier, and then remap other buttons as you see fit on that shift.
