Xbox Elite controller disconnects

HI,

Am running W10, and have the latest version of rewasd installed (6.01). I have an Xbox Elite controller, and it is connected via USB. It has been disconnecting from Windows every 10-15 minutes. I have to unplug it, go back into rewasd, and hit apply to get it functioning again.

If I play a game without rewasd, everything works fine (except I can't use the back paddles that I was relying on with rewasd). Anyone have any suggestions?

Hey there!

Sometimes the system may turn off the controller to save power.

Please open the device manager and find your controller in the list (for convenience, you can sort the list by connection).
In the properties of this device, go to the Power Management tab and disable the [Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power] option.
