  • Backuping up and restoring device names and groups

    Hi

Apologies if this has been covered before, but I can't seem to find info on it.

Is it possible to back up and restore changes made to device names, groups, blacklisted devices, etc? This is useful after a system reinstall or moving to new machine.

I've noticed all this info seems to be here:

    C:\ProgramData\Disc-Soft\reWASD

So I tried backing up that folder, reinstalling and restoring the folder, but it looks like it ignore the files and ovewrites then new ones setting everything back to default (and new device ids).

Is it possible to backup and retore this data? And if not, is this something you would consider in a future release?

    Cheers

    Hello!

reWASD uses files from the mentioned folder, that is true, and those files are updated with each new group, new connected controllers, new Autodetect settings and many more. Some settings are stored in other places, so there is no easy way to restore them now. We will consider adding such option — thank you for the suggestion.
