Title. I was able to turn off the desktop notification overlay. I'm wondering if it's possible to turn off controller connect/disconnect/profile switch notification sound.

Notifications about the connected controller are not related to reWASD, the system sends them. I assume you should check this guide (it is for Windows 10).
