  • Held input is released and re-pressed during layer change

I currently have a paddle bound to the letter 'A', and that paddle is bound to 'A' on both my main layer and shift layer 1. I've noticed some behavior that I can't seem to change in the settings - here is how to reproduce:

    1. I hold down my shift layer 1 button
    2. I hold down the 'A' paddle
    3. I release the shift layer 1 button
    4. My held down 'A' input is momentarily interrupted

Interestingly, this behavior doesn't happen if I hold down the 'A' paddle on the main layer and then toggle shift layer 1 repeatedly. If possible, I'd like to be able to hold down inputs while using a shift layer and have those inputs persist when I return to the main layer. I've attached the config I'm using. Thank you!

    Hello
Please try to download and apply the edited version of your config.
You only needed to add "A" mapping in shift layer 1 separately as well.

Thank you! This was actually the first thing I tried but I must've messed it up because it works fine now.

Hello! Great news! There is an issue from our side — the inherited mappings should not be repressed by itself. We will try to fix it in the upcoming version. Until then, please remap the button in both layers.
