How do I make a combo: hold down right trigger and hitting "b" press keyboard key

I fit the question in the title, but I am simply trying to set up a combo where I hold down trigger, hit "b" and this in turn hits 1 on my keyboard. That's all. But I can't seem to do it. Shortcuts kind of does it but it doesn't let you hold trigger, you have to hit trigger and B at the same time it seems?

So I try a combo, but then my controller stops functioning in the game every time, and does not press the combo.

If you want the [B] button to output [1] while holding a paddle, you should set that paddle as a [Shift] changer in [Hold] mode and remap the [B] button to [1] on that [Shift].
