  • Issue with changing data directory

IVe just reinstalled the latest rewasd after rebuilding my OS and noticed I no longer seem to be able to change the data folder. When selecting a new folder the top level directory is Desktop, previously I was able to select from the entire folder structure and would point to a onedrive folder. Can someone advise please?

Normally you should see something like this when selecting a folder:

But you are having a folder icon instead with nothing in it. This seems to be an issue within your OS.
Unfortunately, I have no other suggestions for this case besides reinstalling Windows.

In case anyone else runs into this issue it seems it is a problem with onedrive. https://www.winhelponline.com/blog/b...in-windows-11/

Ensure that the account you are using has the necessary permissions to access and modify the desired folders. If you're pointing to a folder within OneDrive, make sure the OneDrive folder has the appropriate permissions.
