Memory Integrity issue sixaxis.sys

I have a Windows Security flag saying "Memory integrity is off. Your device may be vulnerable."

when I try to turn it on, I get a message saying I cant turn it on because of incompatible drivers.


when I check at what those drivers are, under "Incompatible drivers", I see "sixaxis.sys"


Is that sixaxis.sys the driver that reWASD uses for Dualshock 3?


or can I remove that?

Hello! You can remove this driver if you do not use DC3 or emulators that need it. However, Windows itself points out that Memory Integrity is recommended to be disabled for a better gaming experience. So you can leave it as it is.

This is official Sony driver for DualShock 3 on Windows, it is not needed for reWASD and is optional. But it is needed if you want your physical or virtual DS3 to be recognized by Steam or RPCS3 and PCSX2 emulators.
