Press the Apply button but mouse still working and cant change to the controller

I pressed the Apply to Slot 1 but my mouse still working and i cant change to the controller mode,there are virtual controller on the taskbar
Does anyone know what's wrong with it？

Are you saying game config or just program setting?
If its game config,none of them can work.If its program setting,how should I give you?just screenshot or a file hidden somewhere on my disk?

Config is a file. You can find it by right-clicking on its name in reWASD and selecting [Open file location]. Upload it here, so we could check it.

We would also need a screenshot of your [ Devices group editor], as this looks like a case of an incorrectly initialized mouse.

Or you could try fixing this issue on your own by using the [Clear data] button at [ > General] and following the instructions in case #24 here.
