Before buying a new controller I want to try to use my old Xbox One controller. This controller does not have a button to swap between different configurations like Xbox Elite does. My question is, can I assign one button on the controller to swap back and forth between configuration1 and configuration2? Just one button. Not crazy keyboard combinations. Just one button with two controller combinations. Can I do that in ReWASD?

If you want to switch between different individual configurations, I recommend using the Slots feature.
However, if you want to more easily switch between different configuration layers for the controller with the click of a one button, then it is better to use Shift mode. -
