Using controller mouse inputs in BF2042

I just had a question of whether or not you could have all keyboard and mouse bindings on your controller? The game seems to think there is 2 inputs as soon as I get rid of the last controller binding on my profile. I uploaded my profile to see if someone may be able to help me. I just started using rewasd and am trying to figure it out lol.

As an option, try to add Mute all for the whole controller.

I ran into that too when starting with reWASD. Once the last controller bind is gone, the game sees two inputs. Try enabling Single Input Mode and keeping everything under one virtual layout, it should fix it.

I’ve been experimenting with using a controller and mouse combo in BF2042, and it actually feels smoother than expected. Aiming is more precise with the mouse, while movement with the controller feels natural. It takes some getting used to, but definitely worth trying if you're looking for better control balance.

If you want to use a physical keyboard and mouse but emulate a virtual controller, then yes, it is possible.
You can see how it works in the Fortnite example.

However, I am not sure if LoL even has controller support.

Thanks. WASD movement controls are now available in the LOL Public beta, and will be coming soon in global. Then i can map those WASD movement with the controller's analog stick. I think that will work fine with LOL new control schemes.

That’s a solid idea. Having a “Mute All” option for the entire controller would definitely make it more convenient for players who just want to focus without any extra noise.

BF2042 doesn’t really like mixed inputs. Even if you delete the last controller bind, reWASD can still make the game think a controller is active. Try sticking to one input type only and double-check the in-game input settings.
