Mapping keyboard to keyboard key that does not exist ?

The game uses some keys by default like Keypad 0-9. I want to map a key (2, for example) to Keypad-6. But my keyboard does not have a Keypad. As a result, the response is like an arrow key (my keyboard has arrow keys).

Is it possible to map a key to a virtual key that does not exist on my actual keyboard ?

You can't assign a mapping to the Numpad if it's not physically on your keyboard.
But you can assign Numpad 2, for example, to any physical button that is on your keyboard (for example Q) and then pressing Q will get the Numpad 2 input.
