Making XBox Controller Appear as Pure Keyboard/Mouse to Game

I spent about an hour writing a config for a new game, only to discover the game has built-in controller support. Said support is awful and I'd rather use my shiny new rewasd setup! However, since the game detects my controller as a controller, it uses it's own controller bindings, I guess ignoring whatever rewasd is sending. So the question is - can I have rewasd hide the fact that I'm using the controller and emulate all the commands as pure keyboard and mouse inputs?

controller: XBox Elite 2
Windows 10 Pro
rewasd 6.4.0.6988 (with all addons purchased other than mobile)

Screenshot as requested! Looking for advice in general, not advice to this specific config. Would be great if controllers could be hidden from games.

If we understand you correctly and you want the game to not react to your controller buttons and see them as remapped mouse keys, then you need to use the Mute function.
