To hotkeys on keyboard trigger event

Hey,

i just want to make a simple key combination on my keyboard. Shift + E should trigger MWheel down. I followed the instructions but cant get it to work. Everything else works fine.
Is there anything i overlook?

[Shortcuts] work in a specific way - both keys must be pressed together within 50ms (by default).
The [Shortcuts] will not fire if you hold the [Shift] key and press [E] after that time window has passed.

We suggest using the [Shift] feature instead.
