Razor tartarus and naga - do I have to run synapse as well?

Hi

to use the extra buttons on a naga mouse and to use the joystick on a tartarus keypad do I have to run Synapse a) not at all b) only to programme or c) always?

Razer Tartarus is supported in reWASD as a standard keyboard only, so I cannot guarantee that the joystick will work correctly.

Back to the mouse. As far as I remember, the side button on this Razer Naga is tied to mouse buttons in the default profile. So I guess the only way to remap them in razer software and then remapping again in reWASD
