breaks, rewasd virtual controller with elite series 2 and xbox wireless adapter

When enabling the virtual controller and the app focus switch to on, elite series two led changes color to a pale green, flashes two or three time, then flashes white more quickly a few times as the controller either shuts down or reboots itself.

The same exact config works flawlessly when the controller is just connected with simple bluetooth. However, when connected via bluetooth, the change led function does not work.
It is the only thing that does not work properly with rewasd and the configs I've pushed to the virtual controller/ Nothing breaks.

However, that exact same config breaks when enabled on the xbox wireless adapter. Why would that be?

This is actually a normal procedure due to the "Hide from Windows Store applications (affect all slots)" option being enabled at "Preferences > Gamepads".
An advanced hide of sorts, which works on driver filter level allowing us to work with the controller exclusively.

If you are not using reWASD with Windows Store apps, you can disable this option, and these resets won't happen anymore.
