ReWASD - Steam Controller - Controller not working when connected via Bluetooth

I updated my SC with the BLE firmware update.

• I can play games fine connected to my external USB bluetooth dongle with Steam input.
• I can play games fine with ReWASD and the SC when it is plugged in via USB cable.
• The SC does not work when using the same bluetooth dongle with ReWASD. It works with steam input, it does not work with ReWASD.
• The same bluetooth dongle also works perfectly fine with a Nintendo switch Pro controller and ReWASD.

What am I missing? Do I need to change settings for the SC to work with ReWASD and the bluetooth dongle?
