Aim assist is a feature of games for players using a controller.
In Vortex's config, virtual controller emulation is configured on the main layer and works immediately after applying the config.

You need to make sure that the main layer does not have any mappings, and for example, layer 1 is completely remapped to the virtual gamepad as the main layer in the Vortex's config.
Then in the main layer assign jump to shift 1 to RMB in hold mode.
