Dualsense - cannot assign Stick to gyro

When no Virtual Controller is applied to DualSense ... I cannot assign Left and Right Stick to gyro - mapping is highlighted red with exclamation mark (see attached)

I can assign other buttons to gyro (can see from attached picture - i was able to assign Up and Down to gyro)

Is this a bug or limitation?

Yes, this is not a bug but a limitation.
And yes - this is due to the fact that your config doesn't create a virtual controller.

Can this limitation be overcome?

i am trying to set up Gyro Steering for WRC 10 ... so I need to assign gyro to left stick

Reason I do not want to use virtual controller ... is to get Haptic Feedback from DualSense ... so I need DualSense in native mode (unless you implement virtual DualSense)

Yes, we'll try to enhance it one of next versions, it just requires some more work.

Thank you ... this is will be a huge bonus for DualSense ... as some games start supporting Haptic Feedback and Adaptive Triggers (Last of Us, Apex Legends, F1 23, etc) which are lost if Virtual Controllers are used
