Question about Shift Mode

I can use ReWASD fairly easily enough. However, when mapping to a controller I was wondering about Shift Mode. For example, if I have say the Left Trigger on my controller for aiming in a shooter. Can that same input be used as a Shift Mode option?

So, for instance:

Left Trigger in shooters is to aim down the sight or scope of your gun. Can I create an input using Shift mode for that same Left Trigger that while I aiming down the said sight or scope, I can then hit another input on my controller for say leaning left or right?

Hold Left Trigger for aiming down sight
Hold Left Trigger and click Left Stick in for leaning left and click Right Stick in for leaning Right.

As far as I understand, you are wondering if it is possible to have a Jump to Shift mapping and a simple mapping to the same activator. Yes, this is possible. All you need to do is choose the needed Jump To Shift Mode and add the needed mapping from the drop-down menu.
