  • Can someone please explain to me how to adjust deadzones to achieve my goal?

I'm playing on an emulator which introduces some input lag, and want to adjust my deadzone to combat that, so when I move the stick, it reacts almost instantly.

I saw a short video on ReWASD facebook when googling solutions and saw that messing with the Y-axis, effects sensitivity? This setting is too sensitive, as my character in-game moves without me even touching the stick. Am I on the right track by messing with the y-axis, to achieve a sensitive deadzone?

A detailed explanation of the deadzone tools would be very much appreciated.

    Hey there!

The Y-axis would be the "boost" on diagonals, and the X-axis is a level of stick deflection.
This way, it allows to have unchanged inputs on low deflection levels while still reaching the maximum possible square shape at high ones.

You can learn more about Stick and Trigger zones in this article.
