  • Is It Possible To Change reWASD ENG Based Keyboard UI?

    Hello my fellow reWASD Community
I was wondering if it's possible to change the Keyboard UI within reWASD from ENG based Keyboard Pattern into another Keyboard UI and therfor in another Key Layout Pattern?
I'm from Germany, so the reWASD Keys within my Profile are always slight different from what it is on my physical Keyboard - especially my Makro Combos, since I'm most likely to put those on special keys or special characters.

For example: when adding the Key: " ß " to my profile, reWASD recognise it as: " - " or when I'm chosing the Key " ü " on my Keyboard, reWASD shows me as the Key " [ ". (without the " ")

From time to time this appears to be a bit confusing, especially in case of profiles with a lot of macros. So far I wasn't able to find any setting for the Keyboard UI inside reWASD for myself, so I wanted to ask you, if there is any option or possibility to change the ENG based Keyboard UI Pattern?

Thanks for your time and help!

    Hey there!

Unfortunately, no. At the moment, it's not possible to change the keyboard layout in reWASD.
Perhaps we will change it in the future, but at the moment, we cannot make any promises.

      Ah, to bad! :/
Well then I'll keep writing down the Key for the desired Macro on my notes and keep hoping for this feature in the future - cause sometimes, when it's been a while since using a specific profile, I'm losing my notes so things get very tricky then xD

But thank you very much for your reply
