Gyro Activating on its own

Having a strange issue with my Apex 2 controller. Whenever I click the "Apply to slot" button, gyro control activates on its own. This happens immediately after aapplying without pressing any buttons on the controller. It wouldn't matter even if I did because I do not have gyro mapped to anything.

I have tried reinstalling and I am using the latest version - 9.0.0.9758. It seems it's tied to my config because if I create a new one, the issue is not present however a clone of my main config still has it.

Since creating a new config resolves the problem, we recommend rebuilding your main config from scratch.
Additionally, please check:

• If there are any Shift Layers or hidden mappings that might be triggering the gyro.
• If the issue persists, try resetting your device settings in reWASD (Preferences → Clear data) and reapplying the config.

No shift layers have a gyro mapping.

Remaking the config did cross my mind, but it would be a pain as I have 8 layers. if I can't find any other solution I guess I will have to do that.
