Left and Right inputs simultaneously are sending Down

Hi! I have an odd issue that I can't wrap my head around.

When I press both Left and Right inputs simultaneously, reWASD also seems to be sending Down inputs. I can say for sure that I'm not accidentally pressing down on the analogue sticks, because it's mapped via an analogue keyboard (so I'm simply pressing A and D that is sent as joystick input)

This is really noticeable when I'm staffing in game and tapping Left and Right very fast, my character ends up walking backwards slightly. Is there any way I can prevent this? Switching the joystick to 8 direction mode does work, but then I'm not able to use the full control of the analogue keyboard for precise direction input

Pressing buttons that are remapped to the opposite directions of the same stick will result in stick going to one of those directions.

You've mentioned [S] and [D] keys. Usually [S] is remapped to "Stick Down" action. Maybe that is the reason?

If not, you should check the mappings that pull the stick down, or if the stick's "zero position" is below zero due to having a controller in the group.

Oops, sorry that's my bad. What I meant was *A and D*, not S

Gamepad tester does not show that any Down inputs are received, so I guess it's just an unfortunate quirk of this particular game
