  • How do I stop my dualsense edge using touchpad mouse emulation in ds4 mode?

I can't clear any of the functions related to the touchpad here, I didn't even make them. L2 is making me alt+tab. Virtual xbox one works fine, but then the button glyps aren't correct in-game.

    1. Does the touchpad work as a mouse on the desktop?
    2. Does this happen if you close Steam completely

Yes to both. I also get "Unable to activate apply to a physical device. Gamepad mappings are required." if I try to use it as a dualsense.

As you can see from the screenshot, the reWASD config cannot emulate a mouse on the touchpad. It emulates a virtual DS4 touchpad.
Perhaps something else in your system is causing this behavior.

Please send me the file with system information. It doesn’t include any personal data but shows active processes, installed apps and drivers. It will help us recreate the same conditions and reproduce the issue from our side.
        1. Type ‘msinfo’ in Windows search
        2. Press Enter to open System Information tool
        3. Go to File -> Save
        4. Send me the *.nfo file you get

It was too big to attach uncompressed.

Your system has many third-party drivers for remapping: hidhide, vigembus, and nssvpd; all of these need to be removed.
To remove vigembus and nssvpd, use this tool: https://github.com/lostindark/Driver...s/tag/v0.11.64
It is better for you to search the Internet for safe ways to remove hidhide.

I use them for dsx, which is needed in some cases when rewasd just doesn't do the job. They're not able to co-exist? I would think a majority of users with a dualsense use both programs.

Unfortunately, in a significant number of cases, the drivers I mentioned do interfere with reWASD, and it seems your case is one of them.
